She acquired tremendous life experiences from a diverse entrepreneurial and business career spanning over 29 years in various industries and organisations. In her current role she adds value as the founder of a professional services consultancy, assisting mid-to-large corporate clients with strategic employee transformation plans and economic empowerment activities, while ensuring regulatory compliance. She develops and activates solutions to transform and systemically address business operational challenges through equity, diversity, inclusion and skills development initiatives and tasks. Passionate about customer experience and innovation management, she also supports organisations with strategic planning, facilitation and training, special project design and implementation, performance measurement systems, and business administration.
As a Business Deep Generalist, the work product Geanné is responsible for engages and scales businesses through human capital development. This would include the areas of future world of work shifts, skills transfer, talent development and authentic transformation. She is highly regarded as a Subject Matter Expert in the monitoring and compliance of fundamental business drivers in the South African business economy such as B-BBEE, Skills Development, and Employment Equity.

Colette Cilliers is an Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) facilitator, SME development specialist and transformation professional with nearly two decades of experience in the B-BBEE and transformation environment.
She is the Founder and Managing Director of Proudly Developing (Pty) Ltd, where she works alongside corporate clients to connect them with high-potential SMEs, managing ESD programmes from inception to measurable legacy — ensuring B-BBEE investments yield real transformation. She personally works with SME business owners to understand the challenges faced and development programmes that support long-term sustainability, growth opportunities, strengthen business systems, improve operational efficiency, enhance compliance, upskill the workforce and explore new market opportunities. Her approach combines strategic insight with practical implementation, helping businesses build the foundations required for successful growth and participation in larger value chains.
Colette's approach is underpinned by a strong academic and professional foundation. She holds a BCom Honours degree, completed Cum Laude, and her early career experience in accounting, financial management and internal audit provided valuable expertise in governance, controls, business systems and performance management. These disciplines continue to shape her analytical and practical approach to business development.
In addition to her SME development work, Colette brings extensive experience from the B-BBEE and transformation sector. Over the course of her career she has served as a Verification Analyst, Technical Manager and Technical Director, providing advisory services on B-BBEE strategy, scorecard optimisation, compliance implementation, verification readiness and transformation planning. She has also facilitated workshops, delivered technical training and supported organisations across multiple sectors in navigating South Africa's evolving transformation landscape.
This unique combination of business development, transformation expertise, financial acumen and practical implementation experience enables Colette to create meaningful connections between corporate transformation objectives and sustainable enterprise growth. She is passionate about building capable businesses, developing entrepreneurs and creating lasting impact through effective Enterprise and Supplier Development initiatives.
